MID-PENINSULA HISPANIC OUTREACH MINISTRY

A Ministry called to reach out to the Latino Community in the Mid-Peninsula for Christ, and bring them to maturity so that they may in turn minister to one another and be a vibrant witness for Christ in their own communities.

Started as a home bible study, then moved into First Presbyterian Church San Mateo. In 1993, became Latinos Unidos en Cristo, in partnership with five local churches.

Rev. Daniel Beteta was called as an associate Pastor for the Hispanic Ministry at First Presbyterian Church San Mateo at the end of 2000. On April 1, 2002, the Presbytery gave us the privilege to begin our New Church Development, which was an exciting time and an opportunity to start our own identity and ministry. Today, Latinos Unidos en Cristo (Latinos United in Christ) is a congregation of about 150 people.

We are a Ministry that celebrates life, marriage, youth and children. We teach them to experience God's love in their everyday lives and enjoy the transformation of their families and community.
